Reflections Entries Due Oct. 13

Have an inspiring artist, musician, writer, photographer, dancer or director in your house? Encourage them to showcase their talents through this year's Reflections program. The theme is "Within Reach." Entries are due Oct. 13 to the submission box in the main office. Contact Ali Barron.

Coin Drive Winners

Congratulations to Ms. Boynton and Evelyn from Mrs. Cooke's class for winning the Community Service Club's hurricane coin collection guessing contest. They won the faculty and student prizes for guessing closest to the amount ($791.55) without going over. Thanks to everyone for your incredible donations!

Adopt a Fox Week

Oct. 9-13 is Adopt A Fox week sponsored by the Student Council Association (SCA). Encourage your young foxes to donate spare change all week to help NFE adopt a fox at Maymont.

The Explore Lab is looking for grade-level coordinators for kindergarten and third grades. Coordinators communicate with the grade-level teacher coordinator and recruit volunteers for each lab. Contact Kelly Berger or Stephanie Weber. No science degree or experience is needed!

From the Art Room

Students have been hard at work this fall creating beautiful art and have done an amazing job. We have a display in the Twin Hickory Library that will be up for the month of October of 33 different students’ work. The display looks fantastic.

Doing art can be very messy, and we are in need of more wipes to clean hands and tables. Donations of wipes for the art room would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the privilege of teaching your children. They are so wonderful and creative.
