SUBJECT: News from the Farm - November 2, 2018

Notes from Mrs. Metzger

Happy November! Even though the weather was less than desirable, the Fall Festival was a huge success! Thank you to Shannan Barber and Kristina Weimer who did an amazing job organizing this event. Thank you also to everyone who volunteered their time for our students.

The end of the first quarter is Monday, November 5NFE will hold parent conferences on Monday, November 5 from 2:45 pm – 6 pm and on the morning of Tuesday, November 6 from 8:15 am – 11 am. Parent conferences are a great opportunity for you to gain a better understanding of your child’s academic progress and learn how you can continue to support your child at home. Tuesday is also Election Day, so there may be some extra traffic in the parking lot as NFE is a polling site.

Don’t forget that this Saturday, November 3 is the B & N Book Fair. It will be held at the Short Pump Barnes and Noble from 10 am – 2 pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you again for your continued support!
