Notes from Mrs. Metzger

Fox Families –

As Parent Engagement month comes to a close, I want to thank you for all that you do for our school. November was a busy month at The Farm: Fall Enrichment, Book Fair, Parent Conferences, Explore Lab Lessons, Veteran’s Day Program, Art Shows, Robotics, Fox Fest, Turkey Trot, Field Trips, Reflections, and the Math and Science Night. It was great to see so many students and families at each of these events. Thank you again for your active engagement in our school!

Nuckols Farm Elementary is now on Twitter. Over the course of the school year we will be tweeting out about all of the great things happening here at Nuckols Farm. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @NuckolsFarm.

With the upcoming break, I hope everyone has an opportunity to spend time relaxing and rejuvenating with friends and family.

Yours in Education,

Crystal Metzger

From the Art Room

On November 15, Nuckols Farm and Our Lady of Hope put on a wonderful Art Show that featured art work from over 100 students in grades K-5. The show was a big success and many students, families and residents of Our Lady of Hope enjoyed the beautiful and creative art work.

Congratulations to Henry P. for representing Nuckols Farm Elementary in the Lewis Ginter Elementary Art Show with his awesome oil pastel owl.

Congratulations to all the talented artists! Thanks to the parents and families for supporting your children and coming out to see the shows.

The art room could use any extra tennis balls you may be looking to get rid of.

Thank you!
