Happy New Year!
Hope your first full week back to school has been successful. It has taken me a few tries to get back into the swing of school routines! Be sure to keep an eye on Membership Toolkit for important dates and upcoming events. See you around the Farm!
All the best,
The PTA received $50 from All Star Orthodontics for 50 pounds of Halloween candy donated by Nuckols Farm families. Way to go, Foxes!

Congratulations to 2 cafeteria volunteers this month! Michelle Lipawksy's name was drawn as the December Volunteer of the Month. She will receive a handmade Fox apron. A new award for Volunteer of the Fall Semester goes to Stephanie Weber who worked 22 lunch shifts! She will receive a $10 Gift Card for Starbucks. A huge thank you to both volunteers!
Cafeteria volunteers are needed each week to hand out supplies and to assist students with opening packages. Shifts are 11:10-12:10 and 12:00-1:00 each day during lunch. Schedule yourself on a minimal basis or sign up for weekly shifts. Sign up to volunteer through Membership Toolkit or contact Sue Boling.

Meet Our Volunteers of the Month
Congratulations to our December Volunteers of the Month, Becca Kutz, Wendy Gore, Kristin Wicichowski, Laura Powell, and Marcia and Marty Shook. Becca works tirelessly to create fun PTA-sponsored events for our NFES families as she planned November's Math and Science Night. She also ensures that all events are appropriately staffed with volunteers. Wendy and Kristin did a fabulous job organizing a successful Turkey Trot while Laura was instrumental in assembling a hard copy of the Faculty Favorite Things Binder to keep in the office. Marcia and Marty have consistently volunteered over the past six years in their 5th grade grandson's classroom for enrichments, Explorer Lab and many other activities. Thank you to these amazing volunteers!
Our new garden looks awesome! All grade levels will soon benefit from new learning opportunities outside of the classroom. If you would still like to purchase a garden paver for the initial installation, you may do so through Membership Toolkit until January 25. Thank you to those who have already purchased a paver for the initial installation and to all those involved in this special project!

Keep clipping those Box Tops and adding them to the December/January collection sheets that came home before break. Please keep in mind that the next Box Tops expiration date is 3/1/19, so please check the ones you have clipped so far. Be sure to send in any that will expire on 3/1 in the next few weeks so they can be submitted prior to the deadline. Remember, every little Box Top counts!
