SCHOOL NEWS

Library Update

Thank you so much to all the families who donated supplies to our MakerSpace! The students are loving all the new items and we have a great stash put away to replenish the MakerSpace for the next couple of months.

It was also so much fun to see all the Dr. Seuss outfits in celebration of Read Across America Day! The kids looked great and we had a really fun day. I am very grateful to work with such a generous and supportive community!

Sincerely,
Ms. Young

Are you ready to Jump Rope for Heart?

NFES is once again participating in the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart Program! The event will be held in the NFES gym on Thursday, March 21 from 2:15-3:15 pm. Remember to send in a note if your child plans to stay after school to participate! For more details or to volunteer to help that afternoon, please contact Mrs. Sweeney.

NFES Celebrates Read Across America Day

We celebrated Read Across America Day last Friday by wearing red, white and black, wearing mismatched/crazy socks or dressing as a favorite Dr. Seuss character. Our fabulous NFES faculty had some fun in honor of Dr. Seuss too!

Beginning next week, each Wednesday in March will be a themed dress up day. Our Foxes are encouraged to participate! The schedule is:

March 13 - Favorite College/Sports Team

March 20 - 80's/Neon Day

March 27 - Hawaiian Day

The Henrico Citizen is looking for nominations for its annual Top Teachers Issue! Nominations will be accepted throughout the month of March. Check out additional information on their website!

SUPPORT THE FARM EVERY TIME YOU SHOP OR EAT!

Have you checked out the graph on the back of March's Box Top Collection Sheet? Ms. Burris' class is in the lead but there is still time to catch up! Keep clipping and remember to turn in this month's collection sheet by March 29
