Notes from Mrs. Metzger

Class Placement for 2019-2020

It's hard to believe it is already time to start thinking about next school year! As this school year draws to a close, teachers and other staff members work together to ensure each child’s placement for the following year will be one that will help them grow and succeed. Parent requests for a specific teacher for his or her student will not be honored; however, you may share information about your student’s learning style, their areas of strength, and/or their areas of growth that you feel should be taken into consideration for placement. If you would like to provide input regarding your child’s placement for the 19-20 school year, please email me at or send in a written request to my attention. Input must be shared by Friday, May 31, 2019 for it to be considered in the scheduling process. Thank you!

Hi Fox families,

Aren’t we lucky to have such amazing teachers at NFES? Thank you for participating in teacher week and showing your appreciation to those who make such a difference everyday in the lives of our children! It is hard to believe there are only 23 actual school days left in the year! There are plenty of fun days planned in May and June...please make note of the dates listed in the newsletter and on Membership Toolkit.
