Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a relaxing and rejuvenating winter break! It has been a great week back at The Farm, and I am so proud of all of our foxes. We are off to a great start as students have returned this week showing their PAWS (Positive Attitude, Accepting Responsibility, Working Hard, and Showing Respect) and have been focused, engaged, and ready to learn!
Just prior to break we held our school spelling bee. Sumra S. was named our school Spelling Bee Winner and will proudly represent NFES at the county level on January 14. We also recognized Aaron S. as the 2020 MLK Lights of Hope recipient. Aaron will be recognized on Monday, January 20 at the 34rd Annual MLK Commemoration Ceremony. Congratulations to these students!
Last call for lost and found! We have a significant number of coats, jackets, sweatshirts, etc. in the lost and found. If your child has lost something at school please encourage them to check the lost and found. Any items not claimed by next Friday will be donated.
