Fox Families –

Please mark your calendars, Papa John’s Teacher Delivery Night is just around the corner. This event will take place on the evening of Thursday, March 5 from 4-6:30 pm. Please see the hot pink flyer that came home with your child for more information and directions on how to place your order. Our staff is looking forward to this exciting evening of pizza delivery! In previous years this event has been a highly successful fundraiser for our school. I hope your family will consider ordering Papa John’s for dinner on the evening of March 5th to support NFES.

Henrico County Reflections Ceremony 

On Tuesday night, the annual Henrico County Council of PTA’s Reflections Ceremony was held at Hungary Creek Middle School. Winners from every HCPS school were recognized at this ceremony in six categories. Nuckols Farm was well represented by our winning students in each category.

Thank you to all those who supported our Foxes and to Emily McKinney who did an amazing job as Reflections Coordinator! NFES was even the recipient of the Outstanding School Participation Award for having the highest number of participants in the county.Please read on for a list of awards from Tuesday evening. Congratulations to all!


PTA Membership Update

10 members!That’s all we need to hit our goal of 100% PTA Membership! Can you help us do it?! If you haven’t joined, please consider joining on Membership Toolkit TODAY. It’s quick and easy and only $6 per membership. And we only need 10 more! Help us reach our goal before we submit our membership numbers to the national PTA in March! Thanks to all who have already joined.


Call for Lego League Coaches!

We are looking for coaches for this awesome program! FIRST LEGO League, Jr. is a STEM-based program that introduces students to building and engineering concepts through the use of LEGOs and later, robotics. Coaches are needed for a Junior Lego League (1st-3rd) and also for a Robotics team (4th-5th). Coaches will be trained and receive assistance lining up interested students.

Our biggest spirit night of the year is quickly approaching! Papa John's Teacher Delivery Night is scheduled for March 5, 2020 and we need drivers to help our amazing NFES faculty deliver pizza. Please sign up to volunteer on Membership Toolkit today so that this popular event is a success! 




Pictures needed

Please share pictures of your favorite NFES moments and memories for the yearbook! Go to, enter 10385 for NFE, and follow the directions from there OR download the Herff Jones eShare app to share pictures directly from your phone.

Recycling Club News
The Recycling Club would like to congratulate our Recycling Poem winner, Leo D. in 4th grade! His winning poem is:

There's so much plastic

Congratulations to Jamie Gibberman and to Michelle Lipawsky, our most recent Volunteers of the Month!

Jamie has spent a lot of time volunteering in the art room while Michelle, our PTA Treasurer, took on a leadership role with the PTA Nominating Committee.

SCA Pajama Drive a success!

 At Monday's Fox Fest, we learned that our school community donated 354 pairs of pajamas to the Virginia Chapter of the Pajama Program. Way to go, Foxes!

All items are in stock and will be available for pick up by Friday, March 6, 2020. Please include a phone number when ordering so delivery can be arranged!
