Fox Families, Our recent Fox Fest was a HUGE success! Congratulations to all of our Fox Choice Award Winners. We are so proud of each of you for spreading kindness throughout our school. Also, thank you to everyone who donated pajamas to the Pajama Project. This year, NFES donated 397 pair of new pajamas to this worthy cause. Your donation has helped to create a cozy bedtime and peaceful night of sleep for many families. Last night’s Papa John’s Teacher Delivery Night was a great success. Our staff delivered 253 orders in just 2 ½ hours! It was exciting to be greeted by so many smiling faces at each door. I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community. We cannot thank you enough for your support of Nuckols Farm!

 | | Regional Reflections Awards We are so excited to announce the following Regional Reflections Awards received by some very talented Foxes:
Ellie P. received the Award of Excellence for Primary Music Composition while Jenny D. received Outstanding Interpretation for Intermediate Literature! Jenny's work was forwarded to the Virginia State Reflections Competition and it was also announced that she received an Award of Excellence, second place in the entire state!
Congratulations to both of our incredible Regional winners and to all of our incredible NFES participants this year. Way to go!

The Innovation Fair is coming soon!
Save the date! Our Innovation Fair is going to be held on April 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Each grade and class will be showing off projects and demonstrations showcasing our children’s creativity and classroom learnings! All families are invited and encouraged to come, and food trucks will be available for all to enjoy dinner. More details to follow in the coming weeks!

 | | Call for Lego League Coaches! We are looking for coaches for this awesome program! FIRST LEGO League, Jr. is a STEM-based program that introduces students to building and engineering concepts through the use of LEGOs and later, robotics. Coaches are needed for a Junior Lego League (1st-3rd) and also for a Robotics team (4th-5th). Coaches will be trained and receive assistance lining up interested students.  | | News from the Art Room Congratulations to Katie M. for having her artwork in the General Assembly Art Show! The Henrico Arts Festival is coming up on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Deep Run High School. Please stop by to see the beautiful artwork at the Nuckols Farm display as well as a variety of artwork from all the Henrico Schools. There will also be several free arts and crafts activities for kids to do. Hope to see you there! |

 | | Luau tickets on sale now! The 5th Grade Luau is scheduled for June 5, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm and tickets are available to purchase now through Membership Toolkit! With the price of a ticket, your child will receive a special Luau t-shirt. Please remember to choose your child's t-shirt size. You MUST purchase a ticket in order to attend the Luau and receive a shirt!
