NEWS FROM THE PRINCIPAL

 

Fox Families,

We have reached Winter Break!  It is now time to disconnect, relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy time with family.  Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful children with us each day.  We are so thankful for you and your family.  I want to wish each of you a safe, warm, and happy holiday season. 

We hope that you and your family will enjoy this fun NFES Sing Along our staff has created.

PTA NEWS

 

 

Hi, Fox Families-

It is hard to believe that this is the last PTA newsletter for 2020. What a year!

While volunteer opportunities have looked much different since September, we are still planning to fill a typical PTA Board for the 2021-22 school year. In January, please be on the lookout for an interest form detailing open positions. We would love to see you volunteer for the PTA Board next school year!

Best wishes for a safe, happy, and healthy Winter Break. See you in 2021!

It is not too late to consider sending in a year-end donation to the NFES PTA Fox Fund.  All gifts are tax deductible!   We still have a limited quantity of car magnets available for new donors.   

We look forward to seeing our Fox Families proudly displaying their car magnets as they drive around the city!   Thank you again to everyone for supporting the NFES PTA!  Donations can be made through Membership Toolkit.


YEARBOOK UPDATES

 

 Yearbook Prices Increase After Today, 12/18!

To order:

  1. Go to https://www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter code 10385.
  2. Click on "Order A Yearbook".
  3. Follow the steps to add your student and order your book.
  4. Don’t forget to purchase an “Ad” (booster) for your child if desired. 
 

            Photo Submissions


Please continue submitting your photos! The sooner you submit, the more likely your child’s candids will be included. You may submit through the app (HJeShare) or through the website (www.hjeshare.com) and remember to search up 10385 for NFES.  A full list of content themes can be found in membership toolkit or HERE


 

      5th Grade Baby Photos


Please remember to submit your fifth grader’s baby photo by January 15th. You may upload ONE baby photo through the app (HJ eShare) or the website (www.hjeshare.com) but please be sure to use the “Click Here to Upload A Student Portrait” button when uploading.

Library Helpful Hints

Have questions about the NFE Library?  Check this information page from Ms. Young and Ms. Lawrence.    

SUPPORT THE FARM EVERY TIME YOU SHOP OR EAT!

BOXTOP UPDATES!

- Due to Covid, we have placed a collection box outside of the front door of NFE. It is a plastic gray box clearly labeled as belonging to Boxtops.


-Boxtops can be turned in inside a plastic ziplock bag or we have included (as attachment in this email) a blank collection sheet that can be printed off and used at home.


-If the parent would like their child entered in to a random draw raffle for a prize, they may include the student’s name on their submission.


-All physical Boxtops should be turned in by our second deadline of the school year March 2021.  


- Please download and try the Boxtops App and encourage family and friends to as well. So long as a Nuckols Farm Elementary is selected we will receive credit.
