As the end of the school year will be here before we know it, our PTA is preparing to transition to the 2021-22 PTA Board. The 2021-22 Executive Board slate will be approved this year with an electronic vote via Membership Toolkit. Please be on the lookout for this email soon! Your response is appreciated.

Speaking of appreciation, last week was Administrative Professionals Day. We are so appreciative of Mrs. Whitescarver and Mrs. Orr and everything they do on the Farm.

Tomorrow, May 1^st, marks School Principal Day. In a particularly challenging year, we are fortunate that Mrs. Metzger and Mrs. Childress are so committed to our school community. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Beginning this Monday, May 3^rd, we will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. The week’s schedule has been communicated to families through room parents. While the schedule is a bit different this year, our fabulous teachers certainly deserve this special week to show them our appreciation and love. Thanks for ALL you do!

And finally, School Nurse Day falls on May 12^th. Thank you, Nurse Logwood, for keeping our Foxes safe and healthy each day. We appreciate you!

Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3 - 7

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week!  Below is some guidance for the week.  Of course, these ideas are optional but we encourage students to participate in some way throughout the week to show our teachers how much they mean to us!

Monday - Wear your teacher's favorite color

Tuesday - Make a color card for your teacher

Wednesday - Write a positive word about your teacher

Thursday - Give your teacher a gift for their classroom

Friday - Give your teacher a gift from their

favorite things list

Don't forget....Music, Art, Library, PE… our awesome resource teachers…and our amazing faculty and staff!  

Field Day is happening this year and shirts will go on sale next week.  Look for more details to come on the website and the NFE PTA Facebook page!

Parents of 5th Graders!

The 5th Grade Luau is happening this year as a parent-sponsored event. It will be held outdoors at the Fox Hall Gazebo, next to the Club House on June 11 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm (rain date 6/17).

On April 21, we celebrated Kim Orr and Peggy Whitescarver for Administrative Professionals' Day.  We are so grateful for ALL that they do to care for NFE students and faculty!
