It's back!  Mr. Napier has mapped out an exciting route and will start things off at 8:30am with fun stretches and then the racers are off. Students, parents, relatives, and friends are all encouraged to run or walk as many laps as they feel like during this free, non-competitive event.

We are partnering up with our sister school, Johnson Elementary, to help restock their food pantry. The food pantry at Johnson directly supports their Friday Backpack program. This program sends food and snacks home over the weekend with students to ensure they are getting something to eat outside of the school setting.  

They specifically requested easy to open items or meals that require little preparation. (Ravioli, spaghetti o’s, Mac & cheese, granola bars, applesauce, raisins, cereal, anything pre-packaged) There will be boxes available at the start of the course to collect all items for Johnson. Let’s show them how amazing our Fox Families are!

Congratulations to all our 2021-2022 NFES PTA Reflections participants! We were able to gather together virtually on the evening of Wednesday, November 17 to celebrate everyone’s exceptional effort and the inspiring entries submitted by students from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Mark your calendars, school picture day is coming soon on Wednesday, December 1.  Class photos will be taken this year and, as the photo shoot will be very brief, students will be unmasked as they pose with their class.  Click HERE to order your pictures ahead!

Ms.Young is collecting supplies for the library MakerSpace, where 3-5 graders use their imaginations to create.  Donations can be sent in to school with your students.  

Supplies needed: googly eyes, fabric pieces, season items, pipe cleaners, muffin tin liners, paper towel/toilet paper rolls, pom poms, popsicle sticks, stickers, buttons, ribbon, tissue paper, colored/patterned tape, and peel-and-stick gems.
