President's Message

The Magic of Autumn & Children

The fall season is my favorite time of year.  It's not just the beautiful colors, or the crisp air—it's the way it feels like the whole world is slowing down.

When our foxes are not in school we have fun outside before it gets too cold, picking pumpkins at local farms and going on long hikes through the woods.

Seeing the Halloween displays our children start to think about this years costume, and begin meticulously planning their Halloween trick-or-treating strategies. Before we know it, we're planning Thanksgiving!

Your PTA hopes to add to the magic of the season by reintroducing our popular Fall Festival. It’s a great way for families to get together and enjoy each other’s company while creating memories with our children.

We hope you’ll join us for our exciting Fall Festival on October 21st, 5:00-7:30PM.  The planning team has done an amazing job of putting together a fun event the whole family will enjoy, not to be missed!

Warm regards,

Robert Coyne, NFE President

Congrats to our Volunteer of the Month!

Each month, we like to recognize a volunteer at NFE that has gone above and beyond. September is no exception! Emily McKinney spent countless hours organizing an amazing Family Picnic/Birthday Bash. From food trucks and time with friends, family, and faculty to entertainment and music, it was such a special night. Thank you, Emily, for planning such a wonderful evening for our school community!

Cafeteria Volunteers Needed

We can use up to 4 volunteers every day in the cafeteria to help out during lunch time.  You get the feel goods from serving, you get a lot of steps in, and you get to see your student in their natural habitat!

Nurse Logwood, with safety in mind, encouraged all volunteers to  familiarize  themselves with signs of choaking and the Helmlich maneuver.   Take a look at this 1 min video before your next shift.

Safe Foxes are Happy Foxes!  Sign up HERE!
