Attention Fifth Grade ParentsConferences with fifth grade teachers are Monday, Jan. 29. You will discuss recommendations for your child’s middle school classes. Don’t forget that Henrico Schools use the PowerSchool Parent Portal for students and their parents or guardians to make course selections for the fall of 2018. Families of rising sixth grade students will review teachers’ core course recommendations and make course selections using the portal’s “Class Registration†icon. Families can select both core and elective courses.
If you don't already have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, you will need to create one in order to access course requests for the 2018-19 school year. Find directions for creating a Parent Portal account here. Course selections through the portal will be completed during the Jan. 30 – Feb. 9 window. You can review the county’s planning guide for more information. Be sure to sign up for a conference with your child's teacher to discuss course selections.
