Jan. 22-26 was Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week - and we can't say enough about how much we appreciate ours! The Hospitality Committee delivered flowers to Mrs. Merriam and Mrs. Childress this week to thank them for all they do!

Student Holiday!

Monday, Jan. 29 is a student holiday. We hope all our Foxes enjoy a day off from school!

Wear your PJs

Friday, Feb. 2 is Pajama Day and Food Bank Friday. Wear your pjs all day (no slippers - be sure you have proper footwear for recess and PE), and bring a canned good (no glass jars) for the Food Bank.

Science Fair Forms Due Today!

Because of January's many snow days, we've extended the deadline to submit Science Fair participation forms to today, Jan. 26. We hope all of our participating Foxes are busy working on their projects! Watch for project drop-off information in the next newsletter.

Summer Camp Fair

Looking for summer camp options for your child? Deep Run High School's PTSA is hosting its annual Summer Camp Fair at the high school on Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 5:30-8 pm. Camps from throughout the area will be on hand to share information, answer questions and register your campers. There is no charge to attend the event.

Thursday, March 1 is a half day for students. Dismissal is at 11:05 am.

Showcase your Creativity with these Programs

Parents of 5th graders, we're looking for one baby photo of your graduating Fox to include in the yearbook. Photos should be submitted electronically by Friday, Feb. 2.
