ASE is an opportunity for foxes to explore, learn, and develop new skills through a variety of engaging programs at school, after school. We are excited to share the Fall 2024 ASE course catalogue.
Parents, or other HCPS approved volunteers, will be required to volunteer for a minimum of one session per student, per class registered.
You will not be able to complete your registration until you select a date to volunteer. Check your calendars now!
Class dates are listed below. Each class will begin at 2:15pm (directly after school) and dismiss at 3:15pm.
Pick up & volunteer instructions will be emailed to you prior to the first day of class.Signups begin on Saturday, September 21st at 11 am and end on Sunday, September 29th at 11pm.
**Please note the last day to sign up for After School Enrichment is firm. No changes (including refunds) will be made after this time so that our team has time to organize everything behind the scenes to prepare for the first class on October 10th.**

Come and join our group to learn how to make simple, but impressive dishes! You will learn how to prepare fun and delicious creations, sweet and savory! You will increase your independence in the kitchen! You will learn some cool kitchen tricks and how to use some of the kitchen gadgets! You will be able to impress your friends and family with beautiful dish presentations! The best part? We get to eat what we create at the end of each class!! NOTE: there will be no Cooking with Magda class on November 7th. |

Ready to get your hands dirty? Join the Fox Garden Club as we explore our vegetable and flower beds! We’ll get outside and learn about plants, soil, and how to take care of our school garden. **Many sessions will include outside instruction; please dress appropriately for the weather. The class will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather. |
Drama Club's Acting Classes K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th

These classes teach the kids to express themselves and to become a part of a story! Students will act out stories from read aloud texts and short scripts, as well as play fun theater games! Students will learn about moving on a stage, speaking loudly and clearly, and how to work together in a performance. The following acting classes will be offered:

Drama Club's Musical Theater Dance |

Musical Theater Dance Class will focus on music from famous shows, including Disney shows. Students will bring songs to life through dance and movement. It will incorporate various styles of dance commonly found in musical theater and focus on storytelling and expression.

Drama Club's “Play With Us” |

“Play With Us” is a 6 week program that will consist of 20 K-2nd grade students interested in collectively creating, writing, producing, and performing their own 3 act mini play which will also include a song. Kids will learn how to: 1. Come up with a theme2. Create characters 3. Outline a set up, conflict, and resolution 4. All prop, costumes and simple set designs will be created by teachers and kids during class. 5. Kids will perform their 15-20 minute play for parents at the end of 6 weeks. |
