After School Enrichment

ASE is an opportunity for foxes to explore, learn, and develop new skills through a variety of engaging programs at school, after school. We are so excited to share this spring’s ASE course catalog. Classes will be offered on Thursdays for six weeks beginning April 17th. We hope your students will find something they’re excited about!

Parents, or other HCPS approved volunteers, will be required to volunteer for a minimum of one session per student registration. You will not be able to complete your registration until you select a date to volunteer. If you are registering for multiple programs, please be sure to choose a different volunteer date per registration. Check your calendars now! Pick up & volunteer instructions will be emailed to you prior to the first day of class. Volunteers are crucial to keeping the cost of classes down and After School Enrichment fun and safe for our students.

Course offerings are listed below.

Each class will begin at 2:15pm (directly after school) and dismiss at 3:15 pm.

Registration opens on Monday, March 31st at 11 am and closes on Sunday, April 6th at 11pm.

**Please note the last day to sign up for After School Enrichment is a firm deadline. No changes (including refunds) will be made after this time so that our team has time to organize everything behind the scenes to prepare for the first class on April 17th.

Cooking with Magda!	$100	15	3rd 4th 5th	Come and join our group to learn how to make simple, but impressive dishes! You will learn how to prepare fun and delicious creations, sweet and savory! You will increase your independence in the kitchen! You will learn some cool kitchen tricks and how to use some of the kitchen gadgets! You will be able to impress your friends and family with beautiful dish presentations! The best part? We get to eat what we create at the end of each class!!
Fox Garden Club	$20	20	Kinder 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th	Ready to get your hands dirty? Join the Fox Garden Club as we explore our vegetable and flower beds! We’ll get outside and learn about plants, soil, and how to take care of our school garden. **Many sessions will include outside instruction; please dress appropriately for the weather. The class will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather.
Creative Coding with Mrs. Claytor	$45	20	3rd 4th 5th	Gear up for an exciting coding and robotics adventure! 3rd-5th graders will explore block-based coding with Scratch, program Dash Robots, and experiment with Makey Makeys to create interactive projects. The grand finale? Designing and coding their very own game! Whether you're new to coding or ready to level up, this hands-on journey is perfect for curious creators and problem solvers
Drama Club's Disney Dance Party	$70 (includes shirt)	10	Kinder 1st 2nd	Join our high-energy afterschool dance class for K-2 students, featuring hit songs from your favorite Disney movies! Kids will have a blast learning fun moves, building confidence, and expressing themselves through dance. Sign up today and let the magic begin!
Drama Club's Audition Bootcamp!	$70 (includes shirt)	10	2nd 3rd 4th 5th	Learn how to have a successful audition! Learn confidence as you choose and practice your song. Learn how to bring your character to life, to take direction, and proper audition etiquette. Finally, the kids perform their songs for family and friends!
Drama Club's Acting Class K-2	$70 (includes shirt)	8	Kinder 1st 2nd	Students will build confidence and have a chance to express themselves as they bring skits and stories to life. Classes include drama games and activities that will engage the kids and help them develop a love for performing.
Drama Club's Acting Class 3-5	$70 (includes shirt)	18	3rd 4th 5th	Students will learn theater and performing basics as they prepare and perform a skit! Acting and drama games will also help build confidence in our kids and help them to find a fun way to express themselves!
