Library Assistance
WELCOME to the 2023 - 2024 School Year and THANK YOU for visiting the Library Volunteer page! Please consider sharing your time and energy in the library this year. It's an excellent opportunity to spend time with your child and his/her classmates as well as lend a helping hand to Ms. Young and Mrs. Fletcher.
During this time, you may be asked to assist the students with their library activity, at MakerSpace or selecting books for checkout. You may also find yourself shelving books or performing other administrative duties, such as laminating, copying materials and assisting with projects.
There are three shifts available to volunteer each day:
|
It is important to note, you are not required to volunteer the entire shift. You can signup for as little or much time that you'd like...a half hour, hour or the entire shift. Whatever works best for you! When signing up, though, please indicate what time you will arrive and depart so that Ms. Young can plan accordingly.
When considering the time you would like to volunteer, you can refer to the LIBRARY SCHEDULE for your child's library class time. When signing up to volunteer in the CALENDAR, note:

In addition to volunteering your time, another way to assist the Library is by donating disinfectant wipes, boxes of tissues, and the following MakerSpace supplies:
