- Giving Tree for Johnson Elementary.  Sign up HERE.  Place wrapped gifts in a garbage bag and remember to include a tag with the gift's corresponding number on it.  Deliver to NFE on December 8th or 9th between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.  

- Tuesday, November 30 - Last day to order a garden paver for Spring 2022 installation.

- Tuesday, November 30, 3 - 6 p.m. - Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night at Short Pump Town Center location.

The Turkey Trot is back this Saturday!  Mr. Napier has mapped out an exciting route and will start things off at 8:30am with fun stretches and then the racers are off.  Students, parents, relatives, and friends are all encouraged to run or walk as many laps as they feel like during this free, non-competitive event.

We are partnering up with our sister school, Johnson Elementary, to help restock their food pantry.  The food pantry at Johnson directly supports their Friday Backpack program.  This program sends food and snacks home over the weekend with students to ensure they are getting something to eat outside of the school setting.  

They specifically requested easy to open items or meals that require little preparation.  (Ravioli, spaghetti o’s, Mac & cheese, granola bars, applesauce, raisins, cereal, anything pre-packaged) There will be boxes available at the start of the course to collect all items for Johnson.  Let’s show them how amazing our Fox Families are!

We need a few volunteers to help setup, serve food/drinks, and cleanup after the event.  If interested please click on the link below to sign up.  Got any high school siblings needing volunteer hours?  Send them our way!

Farm Happenings - Week of November 8

- This week NFE is collecting hats, gloves, and socks to support Henrico Christmas Mother. Items must be new and can be either youth or adult size.  Students can drop off donations in bins that will be placed outside the cafeteria.

- Tuesday, November 9 is the last day to place Square 1 Art orders online!  A catalog with an access code was sent home with your child  Place your order HERE or search for your child's art HERE.

- The Turkey Trot is back on November 20 at 8:30 a.m.! This much-loved NFE tradition is a non-competitive fun run for students and their families. Participants can run, walk, skip or hop as many laps as they like around the course. Afterwards, there will be hot beverages and light snacks for everyone to enjoy. This fun event is free for all to attend and we will be collecting prepackaged/canned/boxed food items for our sister school, Johnson Elementary.

- Saturday, November 6 is the NFE Book Fair at Barnes and Noble in Short Pump!  It's a great opportunity for holiday shopping while earning funds for the NFE Library.  Can't go in-person?  Shop online using code 12615845.

- November Spirit Night at Gelati Celesti is this Wednesday, November 3 from 3 - 9 p.m.  Treat yourself to delicious, handmade ice cream!  20% sales will be given back to NFE.  

- Save the Date!  The much-loved Turkey Trot is coming soon on Saturday, November 20 at 8:30 a.m.  More details to come!

- Garden and Grounds clean-up this Sunday!  Come out and help us add color and pizzazz to our school! We will be mulching, planting flowers and grasses, and cleaning up the KinderGarden area.  Sunday, October 24 from 12 -2.  Snacks and water provided!
